![]() Hi there! I am passionate about people, living life to the full and having honest conversations. I believe that taking responsibility for our own lives is crucial if we are to experience real joy and become who we want to become, not who we, or others, think we should be. I also believe that doing so is one of the most difficult things we can do, and my vocation in life is to inspire individuals, and organisations, to realise their potential in a way that is goal orientated, challenging and supportive. My background is in human resources and I have 18 years experience working for various blue chip organisations, where I have held a number of senior level roles and became a specialist in developing people, teams and culture. I have designed and delivered a wide range of leadership programmes across a population of over 10,000 people in the UK, Canada, Ireland and India, and I have extensive coaching experience. I have coached young people on a voluntary basis, and I have coached from team manager up to executive level in the corporate world. I took at sabbatical in 2008 and spent four months in Costa Rica as Deputy Expedition Leader for Raleigh International, the youth development charity. During this time, I prepared, inspired and supported 34 volunteer staff to lead nine international development projects, and create meaningful personal development for 120 participants through one to one coaching, and facilitation. I then undertook some travelling in Central and South America, and decided to set up my own consultancy on my return. This is now up and running, and I am in credibly excited about the opportunities that life is offering and the work that I am doing at the moment. I have trained in NLP and Transactional Analysis, have a BA in Human Resource Management and an MSc in Training and Performance Management. I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and I am qualified to use a range of psychometric and developmental tools, such as the Strength Deployment Inventory, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Firo Elements. If you are thinking about coming on an Inspiring Life programme, do. You will learn lots and I guarantee you will leave grinning. |
